Business accounts for Google+ have recently been released allowing companies to take full advantage in the build up to the Christmas holiday period.
The advantages of using Google+ business pages is the hangouts, allowing companies to connect directly to small groups of users and discuss relevant topics like products that they are selling. Companies can also use it to recieve feedback aswell as promote new products.
There is also an integrated analytics style reporting tool that allows business page users to see where their page visitors come from, this will be very usefull for local businesses so they can check if they are advertaising in the correct places.
