Challenge

North Tyneside Learning Trust is a collaboration of schools working alongside employers, universities and colleges to improve education and life chances for children and young people across North Tyneside. With a wide range of programmes, school partnerships, resources and opportunities to communicate, the Trust required a modern website capable of bringing a significant amount of information together within a clear and accessible structure. The challenge was to create a professional digital presence that would work equally well for schools, teachers, governors, employers and other education partners, while making important information and resources much easier to find.

Blue Shark designed and developed a completely refreshed WordPress website for North Tyneside Learning Trust, creating a clean, contemporary platform with straightforward navigation across its programmes, services and partnership information. The new website provides dedicated areas for the Trust's schools, employer partners, services and projects, alongside news, opportunities and secure member content. Particular attention was given to making a large volume of information manageable and easy to maintain by the Trust's own team. Fully responsive and designed around the needs of multiple audiences, the finished website provides North Tyneside Learning Trust with a flexible digital platform that can continue to evolve alongside its work across education in North Tyneside.
