This includes making sure that your website has a consistent look and feel to it, and your navigation, colour schemes and style of writing are the same. It makes sure that when your users are on your website they are left with a professional feel and a good experience.
- Create an easy-to-use navigation
Navigation is such an important aspect of any website, which is why it is crucial to have a good navigation to make sure your visitors can find exactly what they are looking for.
- Don’t overcrowd your pages with text
A lot of your visitors won’t have time to read all the text on a page, that is why is you should make sure that you avoid walls of text. And include the important information at the top of your page.
- Make your website mobile responsive
When designing a website you need to make sure that your website can be viewed no matter what device your visitors are viewing it on.
- Test, test and test again!
Before making your website is live make sure to test it, make sure someone else tests it. And maybe consider getting some feedback from some real users so you can find out how effective it is.
- Don’t have long loading times on your website
Especially now the general public are very impatient, and they definitely don’t like waiting for websites to load. Many people will actually leave a website, and become frustrated if a web page takes longer than expected to load.
